Peter D. Higgins - Partner
Qualifications: BA Psychology, University College, Dublin.
Admitted to the Law Society, 1982
Peter has been with the firm for almost 40 years and heads up the Litigation Team. He has acted for both Plaintiffs and Defendants in Personal Injury actions*, Commercial Litigation and Equity proceedings. Peter is a very familiar face around the local Circuit Court and is frequently involved in significant High Court cases and has over the years established an extensive network of contacts. His many years of experience has seen him acting for various different groups both at a local level and at a national level.
Peter was a serving member of Meath County Council for ten years. He is involved in a number of charitable and social organisations around the Trim area.
Peter is a native of Castlepollard, County Westmeath. His home in Trim is the well known Landmark, St. Mary’s Abbey, which is famous for its connections to Jonathan Swift, William Rowan Hamilton, the Duke of Wellington and many more. Peter is married with three children and he has a particular interest in gardening and Antiquarian books.
